This brulee features a thin crispy shell lovingly covering a rich and creamy custard of decadent coffee flavoured chocolate, with a hint of spices giving it a mysterious depth.

Ingredients

Serves 4

2 cups of heavy cream

6 egg yolks

¼ cup of Swerve or sweetener of choice, with 2 Tablespoons set aside

100 grams of 90% dark chocolate

1 teaspoon of granulated coffee

1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice or ½ teaspoon each of cinnamon and nutmeg

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

2 Tablespoons of granulated Swerve for crust
