Tucked away in a quiet space, you would never guess that this cafe is located right in the heart of the city.
Ambience:
The inside of Dandy Lane is finished in a slightly funky eclectic style, but still feels very classy.
Seating:
There is seating within the cafe itself, outdoor tables and also a large amount of seating undercover outside the cafe doors.
Menu:
Fresh and fun takes on traditional dishes, with a strong use of local ingredients means that you won't struggle to find a delicious choice here.
Ordered:
The big fella ordered the Bacon Benny, which came with poached eggs, crispy bacon, Imago sourdough, hollandaise and looked incredible.
I had the Zucchini, Mint & Fetta Fritters, with harissa labna, house made pickles, soft herbs, poached egg and haloumi. It was so delicious, a bit spicy for me but I'm a big wuss about that.
Drinks:
Mark had a cappuccino and I had a long black.
Dandy Lane only serve Villino coffee, which is my absolute favourite coffee.
Try:
For those of us watching our waist, try the Smashed Avo with goats feta, soft herbs, Imago grain toast, pistachio dukkah and lemon.
The rest of you? How about a Dirty Burger which has bacon, fried egg, cheese, hash brown, house made bbq sauce all on an Imago brioche bun?
